Various views of the confluence of Mandakini with Alakananda at Nandprayag. There was a distinct difference in the colour of the water of the Mandakini (lower river) between the time we were driving up to Gopeshwar (#s 93-98) and the time we were returning to Srinagar (#s 99 & 100) 5 - 6 days later.
