The anicut and the river Arvari. This anicut in Samra village, about 3 kms away from Hamirpur village has contributed in not only reviving the Arvari while enhancing the groundwater tables. This anicut is sign of hope and pride among the residents. And, the water it has been able to collect is in the form of 1-Km long river Arvari in Samra village, Thanagazi tehsil, Alwar district, Rajasthan.
