Johad / earthen check dam. Another large check dam built in 1999 stores so much water that even if the Monsoon fails this year, the villagers and their cattle will manage with ease. Ruparel catchment. This Johad (earthen dam) is main source of water for the villagers of Kraska in Alwar district of Rajasthan.
