Sheelavati, thirty-five years of age, is totally bed ridden with a completely collapsed physical system. Her bosy has shrunk to two three feet. But mentally she is completely sound. She is looked after by her mother Devaki, who does everything for her. When her mother needs to go out, she locks Sheelavathi in with a dagger by her side for safety.
