Several unusual diseases afflict Padre village in Kasaragod district, Kerala. Residents blame aerial spraying of the pesticide Endosulfan by the Plantation Corporation of Kerala. Seen in this is a man with his child taking water from the Kodenkiri stream that flows to Padre from the PCK plantations and along which most cases have been reported.
