A Bull of the Tharparkar breed brought from the government breeding station near Jaisalmer to improve the livestock quality in Minjrad village of Chohtal Tehsil, Barmer District, Rajasthan. An NGO, Society for the Upliftment of Rural Economy (SURE) in Barmer runs projects in eight villages for the improvement of local cattle. It provides villages with bulls of the Tharpakar breed, native to the region and best suited for the environment.
